Managing strata renewals by way of collective sale or redevelopment or redevelopment. Advising on process and compliance requirements in the context of a Part 10 renewal, as well as management requirements, development of the strata renewal plan, and court order approval process. Acting for owners corporations, developers and institutional stakeholders in some of largest and most complex collective sale, strata renewal and redevelopment projects, including contested renewals and multi-lot acquisitions.

Recognised expertise in both the legal and practical implementation of strata renewals, including large-scale, complex and contested renewals.

Strata renewal is viable for schemes where:

• there is a 75% majority interested in pursuing strata renewal (75% of lot owners and 75% of unit entitlements);
• the scheme is currently under-utilised; and
• individual lot values can be significantly increased by redevelopment or collective
• sale (ie selling all lots in “one-line” rather than individually)
