Alex works across all aspects of commercial property law, including acquisitions & disposals, associated due diligence, portfolio transactions, agency law, and leasing transactions for a range of commercial, industrial and retail sites.
Alex regularly acts on complex property deals for large Australian and international companies, property funds and developers, local government and owners corporations, across client portfolios and also transactions across multiple jurisdictions within Australia. He has recently acted on a large National commercial/industrial property portfolio acquisition and disposals for a publicly listed property group across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
Alex has specialist experience in strata renewal and collective sales, affordable housing projects and advises on agency law across all Australian jurisdictions. He also manages the leasing for several commercial office buildings and industrial sites on the portfolios for some of the firm’s key clients.
Alex is a member of the Law Society of NSW and the Law Institute of Victoria. He has been recognised as a Recommended Lawyer in The Legal 500 for 2024 and also in the Best Lawyers 2023 and 2024 edition in the category of “Ones to Watch”. Alex is also an active member of the property industry, being a 2024 sponsor in the 500 women in property program and a judge for the REINSW awards for excellence in 2023 and 2024. He was also recognised in the Australasian Lawyer Rising Stars 2022 list and named as a finalist in the 2022 Lawyers Weekly ’30 under 30 Awards’.
Alex speaks fluent Cantonese and has completed an internship in Hong Kong prior to joining Massons.
