Catherine works across a diverse range of leasing and conveyancing transactions, including managing leasing transactions across landlord portfolios in the office, industrial, and airport/crown land sectors across multiple jurisdictions. She acts on acquisitions and disposals of significant investment and operational sites located across Australia, including portfolio acquisitions which involving ongoing lease management and property advice post-acquisition.
Catherine’s practice extends to complex property advisory work, including community and part-building scheme management. Catherine recently advised on the successful termination of a community scheme by R-G direction pursuant to recent statutory changes (being one of the first of its kind to occur in NSW).
Catherine participated in Massons’ inaugural graduate pro-bono program in 2022, which involved an 8-week secondment at a human rights law firm, Human Rights For All (HR4A). During the secondment, Catherine was involved in preparing submissions to various United Nations and other significant human rights bodies and assisted with matters being heard in the Federal Court and at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
Catherine is currently Secretary of the NSW Young Lawyers Property Law Sub-Committee and has been selected by the Property Council of Australia to participate in the ‘500 Women in Property’ program for 2024. She is also a member of the Law Society of NSW and Queensland Law Society and is on the Register of Practitioners kept in the High Court of Australia. Catherine can speak conversational Korean.
