Courtney works across all aspects of commercial property transactions, including assisting on complex acquisitions & disposals, managing both tenant and landlord leasing portfolios, and advising on agency law and other commercial property issues for office, industrial, and commercial sites. Courtney has a broad client base spanning different industries and driven by varied operational objectives. Her clients include substantial operators in the food distribution, hardware and waste management sectors as well as property industry clients and investors (eg funds) and government authorities.
Courtney joined Massons as a graduate in February 2023 after completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (International Business) with Honours Class II Division I at the University of Newcastle in 2022. Courtney participated in Massons’ graduate pro-bono program, which involved a secondment to Human Rights for All (HR4A) where she was required to assist with matters being heard in the High Court, Federal Court and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
Prior to Massons, Courtney gained experience in the property sector from her prior role at a boutique law firm in Newcastle, where she developed a strong interest in commercial property law.
