Catherine Kim

Lawyer

Catherine works across a diverse range of leasing and conveyancing transactions, including managing leasing transactions across landlord portfolios in the office, industrial, and airport/crown land sectors across multiple jurisdictions. She acts on acquisitions and disposals of significant investment and operational sites located across Australia, including portfolio acquisitions involving ongoing lease management and property advice post-acquisition. Her experience includes advising on the property aspects of transactions from due diligence and execution through to post-completion implementation, allowing her to provide clients with a commercial, end-to-end perspective on their property interests.

Catherine’s practice extends to complex property advisory work, including community and part-building scheme management. Catherine advised on the successful termination of a community scheme by R-G direction pursuant to recent statutory changes (being one of the first of its kind to occur in NSW).

Catherine sits on the Commercial Chapter Committee of the Real Estate Institute of NSW and previously served as Secretary of the NSW Young Lawyers Property Law Sub-Committee. Catherine was also selected by the Property Council of Australia to participate in the ‘500 Women in Property’ program for 2024-2025 and also participated as a mentor for the UNSW Law Society Women’s Mentoring Program. Catherine is a member of the Law Society of NSW, is a member of the Queensland Law Society and is also admitted to the High Court.
