Acting for Eagle Property Group on the acquisition and amalgamation of an entire community scheme (from multiple owners) and adjacent land comprising 4 x adjacent stand-alone commercial properties in a prime Newcastle CBD location.

Massons carried out all conveyancing work for the acquisition (including due diligence) involving parallel negotiations and settlements with various unrelated vendors. Massons also advised on the successful termination of the community scheme by R-G direction pursuant to recent statutory changes, making this termination the first of its kind to occur in NSW.

The result: the acquisition and amalgamation of a multi-lot site to broaden flexibility and redevelopment opportunities.
