Acting for Brookfield Properties on the successful termination of a wholly owned commercial strata scheme at 36 Carrington Street. The property overlooks Wynyard Park and is situated next to the Wynyard bus and rail interchange, and the highly anticipated Wynyard Place precinct.

Our work included pre-acquisition advice on strata compliance, as well as post-acquisition advice on the strata scheme termination process. We prepared, and advised on, the termination application to the Registrar General, drafted all supporting documents and managed third-party interests (eg consent authorities, tenants etc) as well as associated titling matters.

The result: a clean simple freehold title
